On December 18th I headed off to Woodlands to photograph Helen & David’s wedding. Just a small sprinkling of rain but other than that it was a perfect day for two perfect people. I have to comment on the wedding cake, simply the most tastiest cake I have ever tasted at a wedding.

On December 17th Arie and I photographed Sarah & Sean’s wedding at Sarnia Park, Cambridge. We had the great privilege of meeting one of the nicest group of families I have met in a very long time at a wedding. Bill & Sue were two of the proudest parents I have seen of a bride in many years. As a parent myself, it was so very easy to keep capturing some beautiful moments.
Sarah & Sean did not allow the wet weather to dampen their spirits whatsoever. Carla and Laura did a remarkable job all day, thank you to all.

Well…..last Sunday I went on a baby portrait shoot for Liam and we tacked on a wedding for his Mum & Dad, Kylie & Greg. Liam stole the show virtually all day long, quite to the glee for everyone at the wedding at the fantastic Kumeu Valley Estate.
Kylie was one of the most relaxed brides I have had in a very long while. She did however manage to stun Greg when he first laid eye’s on his bride. Thank you for allowing one2one to photograph this very special day for you all. Four of the best wedding speeches I have heard in a while too, congrats!

On Saturday I had another local wedding, this time at Woodlands to photograph Shannon & Shaun’s wedding. By way of background, Shannon is a Kiwi and Shaun an Ozzie but they both live in Perth. There was an amazing 25 Australians at the wedding, testament to the closeness of their friends and family in OZ. It was a hot and humid day at Woodlands on their newly laid lawn but the ceremony was stunning. Lots of humor from the bridal party kept me entertained all day and the images were unique at times.
Shannon and Shaun thank you for allowing one2one to capture your wedding, it was a privilege. Here are a few of my fav’s, some of which only the bridal party will get, lol.

Last Saturday I had a great day with Jodi & Gregg at their wedding in Cambridge. Similar to other weddings recently, Jodi & Gregg decided to have their ‘first look’ before their ceremony and chose a private place on the edge of Lake Karapiro. Their modes of wedding transport was equally as impressive as everything else they had planned.
