Woodlands Wedding Photos – Hayley & Reg

Thursday, June 9th, 2011

On Saturday Arie and I headed to Woodlands to photograph Hayley & Reg’s wedding. The weather did not hold off unfortunately, not that it bothered anyone at the wedding. Their two sons Paul and John were fabulous all day with so much going on for them.

Here are a few of our favs.

Mystery Creek Wedding Photos – Stacey & Ryan

Monday, March 28th, 2011

Well what a day I had a few weeks ago with the wonderful Stacey and Ryan. Some couples just surprise me, its that unknown ingredient that makes a couple truly in love, you just can’t put your finger on it. I think their images speak for themselves, I could have posted a hundred images here.

Hamilton Gardens Wedding Photos – Charlotte & Darren

Friday, February 4th, 2011

Last Saturday Arie and I photographed the wedding of Charlotte and Darren.  They chose to have their bridal party photos captured at Hamilton Gardens before their ceremony at Charlotte’s parents farm. They chose the English Garden to see each other for the first time, Darren was absolutely stunned by the beauty of his bride. Lots of fun and laughter followed and then more laughter.

The ceremony was one of the best I have ever heard, wonderful letters written to each other and read by the best celebrant in NZ, Pam Bayes.  This was my 700th wedding and it will be special to me for quite sometime to come.

Hamilton Wedding Photos – Teri & Colby

Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011

Two Saturday’s ago Arie and I photographed Teri and Colby’s wedding on the family farm in Hamilton. Most people remember that day as one of the wettest summer days Hamilton has seen a very long while, for us it was an incredible day for Teri and Colby. Laughter from start to finish and real city people, some will recognise Colby from being the owner of Burger Fuel in Hamilton.

Guys, it was a privilege to have celebrated with you on your special day we will never forget it. Steve

Woodlands Wedding Photos – Shannon & Shaun

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

On Saturday I had another local wedding, this time at Woodlands to photograph Shannon & Shaun’s wedding. By way of background, Shannon is a Kiwi and Shaun an Ozzie but they both live in Perth. There was an amazing 25 Australians at the wedding, testament to the closeness of their friends and family in OZ. It was a hot and humid day at Woodlands on their newly laid lawn but the ceremony was stunning. Lots of humor from the bridal party kept me entertained all day and the images were unique at times.

Shannon and Shaun thank you for allowing one2one to capture your wedding, it was a privilege. Here are a few of my fav’s, some of which only the bridal party will get, lol.

Shaun’s Mum was thoroughly enjoying tidying up her son, a great private moment came after.

With all the fuss going on behind Shannon, all she wanted was a bit more air movement.

A great wedding moment, both Dad and Mum enjoyed this.

Shaun and his father having a last minute chat before the ceremony.

Shaun was stunned by what he saw when Shannon entered the ceremony.

I have never seen a couple so pleased to show their rings off.

Only the Best Man and me could see what was wrong with this shot, lol.

Just how do you cut a cake like this?

Can someone call the car rental people please, lol.

Cambridge Wedding Photography – Jodi & Gregg

Saturday, December 4th, 2010

Last Saturday I had a great day with Jodi & Gregg at their wedding in Cambridge. Similar to other weddings recently, Jodi & Gregg decided to have their ‘first look’ before their ceremony and chose a private place on the edge of Lake Karapiro. Their modes of wedding transport was equally as impressive as everything else they had planned.

Have a great honeymoon in Vanuatu and enjoy a few of my favs, Steve

Hamilton Wedding Photography – Dianne & Matt Woodside Estate

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

On Saturday I had a local wedding at Woodside Estate. Dianne & Matt designed THEIR wedding day and I loved that about them. They decided to have a private ‘first look’ before their ceremony, that was a very privileged moment to capture. They are so clearly very happy and I loved everything about their day, especially their ceremony by the wonderful Pam Bayes. There was an incredible amount of wedding detail everywhere, it was one of the most planned weddings I have done in a long time.

I photographed their engagement images a wee while ago and these wedding images are just an extension of the engagement images and their personalities. It was a truly joyous and happy occasion and a great priveledge to photograph from the very start through to when they left the venue, a whole 12 hours!

Get in touch when you arrive home, and thanks for being YOU TWO.
