Two Saturday’s ago Arie and I headed to Sarnia Park to photograph the wedding for Yvette & Malcolm. A wonderfully unique day in many ways, we loved capturing your special day, enjoy these few favs from your day.
On Saturday Arie and I headed to Sarnia Park to the longly awaited wedding of Emma and Fraser. There were rain clouds all day and eventually it was decided to have the wedding inside the beautiful house at Sarnia. Fading light at this time of year is always a challenge but I love shooting natural light and we grabbed some great bridal party images. I stayed until the very end and did a ‘photo booth’ type thing for Emma and Frasers guests to leave message, great idea.
Enjoy a few of my favs, Steve
On Sunday I headed to Sarnia Park for the wedding of Jessica and Nathan. Jessica was one bride whom I did not want it to rain on her wedding day, she was worried all morning that it might rain, but it didn’t. A beautiful small, classy intimate wedding with 40 of their closest friends and family was the order of the day.
Here’s a few of my fav’s, Steve
Two Sunday’s ago I headed off to Sarnia Park for the wedding of Kristy and Nigel. What an awesome couple, lots of energy and creativity and incredbly in to each other, a dream to photograph. As for their Bridal Party, lets let the images speak for themselves, a great highlight for my 2010-11 wedding season.
Thank you to all that made me feel like one of the family.
I still have no idea what possessed the boys to do this, lol.
And those wonderful moments we create for all our Father’s and Daughters.
Even Nigel’s Parents had a first look as well, nice
The man could not take his eyes of his bride, love the Groomsmen enjoying the moment too
Both Nigel and Kristy are big water people, so off to Lake Karapiro we go
Can’t remember how this came about but it was a great sequence of images
On January 14th I was back at Sarnia Park to photograph the wedding of Kate and Michael. I was very suspect about the 3 beautiful bridesmaids, they were so organised and looked after Kate the best I have seen of any bridesmaids in a long while, I was convinced they were hired, lol. They jumped in the bath unexpectedly and all the bridal party asked if I did running shots, to which I replied only if you actually run hard out.
A fantastic day was had by all and Kate and Michael were great to work with, Steve.
On January 9th I headed back to Sarnia Park with Arie to photograph Kayla and Darryn’s wedding. Darryn was my youngest son’s teacher last year and it my son Isaak that heard Darryn was getting married. A wonderful couple, very affectionate and incredibly easy to photograph, thank you Kayla & Darryn.
On December 17th Arie and I photographed Sarah & Sean’s wedding at Sarnia Park, Cambridge. We had the great privilege of meeting one of the nicest group of families I have met in a very long time at a wedding. Bill & Sue were two of the proudest parents I have seen of a bride in many years. As a parent myself, it was so very easy to keep capturing some beautiful moments.
Sarah & Sean did not allow the wet weather to dampen their spirits whatsoever. Carla and Laura did a remarkable job all day, thank you to all.
Steve & Arie
Sarah thought it might be a good chance to check her Dad’s speech
Enter Sarah’s Dad Bill for that ‘first look’
Arie did a great job with Sean and Carla
One of my favorite shots, it was like there was no rain at all, the parents just stayed and watched – wonderful
