On Saturday I headed over to Tauranga to photograph Susan & James’ wedding at a beautiful Private Residence right on Papamoa Beach. It was a great union of people from all over the World. I was told that nearly 30 people traveled from overseas, the vast majority from Susan’s home Country, Scotland. Their wedding celebrant flew in from Scotland especially to wed them, having married Susan’s sister’s (her bridesmaids) in Scotland.
Many of my couples are now choosing to have some time to themselves and enjoy their own moments.
I love these images, Steve.
As a father of 3 boys I will never have this privilege as Ian did with his ‘first look’ with his daughter.
And the boys just before they headed downstairs to the ceremony.
Love how I caught this moment as James looks at his father greeting Susan’s mother
Simply beautiful
And there we are James, your beautiful bride. How James kept it together I will never know.
Susan’s ring would just not go all the way, funny moment
Susan and her sisters, Christine and Mahiri (hope I spelt that correctly)
I don’t often post images of both set’s of parents but this is quite a significant shot.
Everyone in a Kilt, to the beach please.
In memory of James’ best friend who died sadly. I guess he had a great sense of humour.
Yeap, that little dot is the cork
