Course Description

As a professional photographer, I have lost count how many people say to me "just Photoshop me", but I doubt very much if they knew what it actually involves. Contrary to belief, Adobe Lightroom has rapidly emerged as the most popular post editing software used by professional photographers. Lightroom goes hand in hand with Photoshop and together sets the industry standard of image editing. The software allows you to sort, rename, edit, tag, as well as make exposure and other batch image adjustments, non-destructively.

This course will take you from the setting up of the Adobe Lightroom software, looking at how you import and export your edited images and how to organising them. The Develop module, where you can correct and process RAW and JPEG files, as well as apply a range of effects, will be covered in detail.

Also included in this course is a brief look at Adobe Photoshop. Lightroom can't quite do everything Photoshop does, so the course will show you the extra tricks photographers use Photoshop for, one particular tool will blow your mind.

Participants will be provided with an extensive course handout.
